This can lead to the need to shorten their hair frequently, resulting in a monotonous look. While short hair can indeed be beautiful, most prefer long hair for the allure it brings. In this article, we will explore herbal remedies for promoting hair growth.
Herbs for Hair Growth
Peppermint
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of ground thyme.
- 1 tablespoon of dried and ground peppermint.
- 1 cup of olive oil.
Preparation Method:
- Combine the ground thyme and dried peppermint in a bowl.
- Add the olive oil and mix thoroughly.
- Apply the mixture to your hair, ensuring to massage the scalp, and leave it on for three hours.
- Rinse your hair well with shampoo and warm water.
Rosemary
- Boiling Method: Boil one cup of water, add rosemary, cover, and let it steep for ten minutes. Then, apply the mixture to your hair using a syringe (removed from the injection part).
- Oil Method: Mix ground rosemary with an appropriate amount of corn oil or coconut oil in a bowl. Cover and let it sit for a week, then use the oil on your hair.
Harmal
Ingredients:
- A suitable amount of henna and warm water for hair.
- A small amount of harmal.
Preparation Method:
- Combine henna, harmal, and warm water in a bowl.
- Mix until smooth, then apply the mixture to your scalp and hair from roots to ends.
- Leave it on for four hours before rinsing with warm water and shampoo.
- Repeat this treatment twice a week.
Note: For dry hair, consider adding olive oil to the recipe.
Green Tea
Boil water and steep green tea until it cools to a lukewarm temperature. Apply it to your hair and scalp, leaving it on for an hour before thoroughly rinsing. Repeat this once a week.
Hibiscus Flower
Combine two tablespoons of coconut oil with hibiscus flowers to create a paste. Apply this paste to your scalp and leave it on for several minutes before washing your hair with shampoo and water. This remedy also helps combat dandruff and greying hair.
Thyme
Boil two cups of water with four tablespoons of dried thyme for fifteen minutes. Strain the mixture and let it cool. Moisten your scalp with the mixture and leave it on for five minutes. Repeat this treatment with every shower.
