The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) is responsible for this classification and publishes a list of the best countries three times a year. Key criteria for this ranking include the number of tourists visiting a country, government spending on tourism and its services, the readiness of transportation facilities, and the presence of heritage sites with cultural significance.
