The Floating Mosque
Known as the Fatima Al-Zahra Mosque, this architectural marvel attracts millions of visitors annually, particularly during high tide. This stunning white mosque stands on columns submerged underwater, creating the illusion that it floats above the surface. Fully equipped for prayer, it serves as a popular destination for both tourists and locals.
Waterfall Park
Situated near the Red Sea, this park is more of a resort than merely an amusement area, drawing hundreds of tourists and residents each day. The park features picturesque waterfalls, artificial lakes, a roller coaster, and various entertaining rides. Due to its proximity to the sea, the views from the highest points of the attractions offer a delightful experience. On hot days, visitors can relax at one of the numerous restaurants or explore the two-story shopping complexes housing ice-skating rinks and bowling alleys.
Nasif House
This historic museum was established in the early 1880s and served as a residence for King Abdulaziz Al Saud, the founder of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, upon his first entry into Jeddah. In the early 1990s, it became a social gathering point for affluent residents. By 1975, it transitioned into a public library housing 16,000 books, which were subsequently relocated to King Abdulaziz University. Eventually, the home was transformed into a museum.
