Who is Abu Bakr Ezzat?
Abu Bakr Ezzat was a renowned Egyptian actor, born in the Sayyida Zeinab neighborhood of Cairo on August 2, 1933. He studied at the Khedive School before pursuing a degree in Sociology at the Faculty of Arts, from which he graduated in 1959.

The late Abu Bakr Ezzat began his theatrical career in school, performing in the play “The Scandals.” He later directed several school productions. After graduating in 1959, he joined the Free Theater Troupe and acted in the play “Palace of Yearning.” His impactful theater performances significantly contributed to his success and rising fame, leading him to enter the film industry, where he also starred in numerous television series.

It is worth noting that the late Abu Bakr Ezzat was married to writer Kawthar Haykal. He passed away on February 27, 2006, due to a sudden heart attack.
