Prayers for the People of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque
Prayers from the Quran and Sunnah
The steadfast individuals in Palestine and at Al-Aqsa Mosque truly deserve our sincere prayers. May Allah strengthen their resolve and grant them victory over their oppressors. Among the well-known supplications that can be invoked in this context are:
- Allah -The Most High- says: “Our Lord, pour upon us patience and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
- Allah -The Most High- also says: “Our Lord, forgive us our sins and excesses in our affairs, and make firm our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people.”
- Allah -The Most High- says: “Appoint for us from Yourself a protector and appoint for us from Yourself a supporter.”
- Allah -The Most High- states in Surah Al-Imran: “Sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best disposer of affairs.”
- The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “O Allah, the Revealer of the Book, the One who causes the clouds to move, and the Defeater of the confederations, defeat them and grant us victory over them.”
- The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “O Allah, we place You in front of them and seek refuge in You from their evils.”
- The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “O Allah, with You I move, with You I advance, and with You I walk.”
General Prayers
Muslims can pray for the people of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque using various formulas that may be revealed to them, suitable for the situation. Here are some suggested prayers:
- O Allah, liberate Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque from the schemes of the aggressors, and be a support for our brothers in Palestine.
- O Allah, grant them victory, instill strength and patience within them, and ease their hearts. Bestow Your mercy upon them; heal their wounded, cure their sick, and accept the deceased among them. O Lord, return their imprisoned youth to them.
- O Allah, free Al-Aqsa Mosque from the pollution of the aggressive usurpers.
- O Allah, grant the people of Palestine steadfastness, victory, and empowerment. Bless their faith and patience.
- O Allah, protect the people of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque from the wicked plots of the oppressors, and support them with Your might and power.
- O Allah, I entrust to You Al-Quds, its people, and all of Palestine; be their helper and supporter, O Lord of the worlds.
- O Allah, do not disappoint our hopes, as You are the Most Merciful of the merciful. We ask You to grant victory to the people of Palestine over their adversaries, swiftly and without delay, O Lord of the worlds.
- O Allah, we ask You by Your Greatest Name to place Al-Aqsa Mosque under Your protection; let no usurper tarnish it, nor let any oppressor violate its sanctity, O Powerful One of the heavens and the earth.
- O Allah, we beseech You by Your Conquering Name to subdue those who have wronged our brothers in Palestine, and grant them victory over the guilty community.
- O Allah, make the fire of their enemies upon them a coolness and peace, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
- O Allah, I ask for victory for the people of Palestine, through which You supported Your Messenger and distinguished between truth and falsehood, establishing Your religion and proving Your argument, You are capable of that.
- O Allah, with Your might, assistance, and protection over Your sanctities, and safeguarding those who take refuge in Your verses, we beseech You, O All-Hearing, Near, Responsive, Avenger, Compeller, and Subduer, to turn the schemes of the occupiers against themselves, and let their plots return upon them.
- O Allah, grant the steadfast defenders honor, strength, and awe in the hearts of their enemies, O Most Generous of the Generous.
- O Allah, protect the souls of the fighters in Palestine, and return them to their families safely and honorably.
- O Allah, grant victory to our brothers the fighters in the land of Palestine, and support them with Your might, dignity, and power.
- O Allah, bless the struggle of the fighters in Palestine, and support them with Your soldiers and victory, O Strong and Generous.
- O Allah, grant victory to our brothers the fighters in Palestine; be with them and do not turn against them, take vengeance on their enemies, instill fear in their hearts, and turn their plots against themselves.
- O Allah, grant victory to the oppressed defenders from the people of Palestine.
