Diverse Supplications for Relief from Distress and Adversity
A servant may call upon Allah -the Almighty- in whatever words they wish, seeking relief from their worries and hardships. Some of these supplications include:
- “O Allah, I ask You for a near relief, beautiful patience, ample provision, and protection from all afflictions. I ask You for independence from people, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great.”
- “O Allah, send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and upon the family of our Prophet Muhammad. O Allah, I ask You by the right of the petitioners, and by Your greatest and most beautiful names, that You spare me from the harm I fear and dread, for Indeed, You suffice for that matter.”
- “O Security of the fearful, save us from what we fear. O Security of the fearful, grant us safety from what we fear. O Security of the fearful, protect us from what we fear.”
- “O Allah, send a complete prayer and perfect peace upon Your Prophet Muhammad, through whom knots are unraveled, and hardships are relieved, and needs are met, and desires are attained, and good endings are bestowed, and rain is sought through his noble visage.”
