The Secrets of the Names of Allah

When a servant understands that Allah – exalted and majestic – is singular in His ability to grant and withhold benefits, as well as in matters of life and death, this knowledge fosters a profound reliance on Him, both outwardly and inwardly. Recognizing that nothing is hidden from Allah, neither in the heavens nor on earth, and that He is aware of secrets and the innermost thoughts, encourages the individual to guard their speech and actions against anything that displeases Allah.
