Fort of Mansoura
The Fort of Mansoura, also known as the Camp of Mansoura, is situated approximately 2.4 kilometers from the city center of Tlemcen, Algeria. This historical site is among the most significant archaeological landmarks in the region, with its origins tracing back to the time of the Merenids. The Merenids constructed the fortification to serve as a military base during the fourteenth century, aimed at besieging and controlling the city.
