Homemade Peanut Butter
Ingredients
- 2 cups of unsalted, shelled peanuts.
- ½ tablespoon of honey.
- ½ tablespoon of vegetable oil or peanut oil.
- ½ teaspoon of salt.
Preparation Method
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Spread the peanuts on a baking tray and roast for about ten minutes until they turn golden in color.
- Transfer the warm roasted peanuts to a food processor and blend them for approximately three minutes, stopping occasionally to ensure an even consistency.
- Add honey, oil, and salt to the peanut mixture and continue to blend until smooth.
- Store the peanut butter in a glass jar and refrigerate until needed. Additional flavors can be added as desired.
